We are committed to helping express the unique, genuine, and colorful flavor Central American and Caribbean cinema is bringing to the table. Our work-in-progress section, Primera Mirada, highlights these films for industry insiders and members of the press – offering an exclusive “first look” at some of this year’s most exciting Latin American productions. Primera Mirada offers economic funds for the completion of the post-production process of the winning project. IFF Panama’s relationship with the Marché du Film de Cannes provides the ideal international platform to share the power of new cinema with the world.
