Internazionali BNL dItalia is part of the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA Premier Tours, the best tournaments in the world, immediately after the four Grand Slam Tournaments. Starting from the 2011 Edition, the Tournament is characterized by the "combined" formula, according to which the ATP and the WTA champions compete simultaneously in May on the 14 Foro Italico courts, the historical tennis club. The 2017 edition will start on the first weekend of May with the pre-qualy tournament, the champions training sessions and the padel tournament. The main draw will start on the 14th of May and will end on May 21st with the men and women finals in the Centre Court, always completely sold out in any seat category.
