Our solution is to create high-fidelity building energy models by using only 1) smart meter data (or measured hourly interval data), 2) high-level responses related to HVAC systems, and 3) simplified building geometry captured from a digital map. This new solution makes it possible to collect the calibrated energy models effortlessly and scale them at an urban level.
