Jimbere Fund is a nonprofit on a mission to mobilize, prepare, finance and launch women-led enterprises in rural communities of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our goal is to revitalize communities and lift people out of poverty in a sustainable way by creating jobs and stimulating local economies. We provide women from some of the poorest households in Congo’s rural communities with training and grants to launch businesses. We seek long-term solutions, working with women to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed and transform their communities for good.
