Job Club RI was developed in 2009 at the West Warwick Library. This grass roots innovative and highly successful job placement program continues to receive local, regional and national media attention. Our program focuses mainly on professional skilled and semi-skilled income workers. Job Club RI is the only service with a local Job Bank -- employers dedicated to assisting in job placement. Over 90 major employers have joined our Job Bank and coordinate directly with Job Club RI in filling their job vacancies. Some of our Job Bank employers include CVS Health, Citizens Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI & MA, Harvard Pilgrim Health, John Hancock, State Street Bank and Dell EMC. Our Values Our key added values to our job-seeking clients are: job leads, group support, one-on-one support, networking support, and internet job search support. Our action orientation, focus on job search skills and job placement services are vital success factors. Job Club RIs core values are: Self-Worth, Dignity, Respect and Value. Replicability Our success in RI, a state where the unemployment rate has been among the highest in the nation, has demonstrated that our core values and action-based approach can work with any constituencies, anywhere. We understand what the unemployed and underemployed need to build confidence, master job-seeking and networking skills and we realize it is essential to build relationships with local employers.
