john mee construction ltd

Our founding company, John Mee Construction Limited, was incorporated by John F. Mee in 1993, to carry out Civil Engineering work including Deep Drainage, Tunnelling, Paving, Roads, and Hard Landscaping. In 2004, John Patrick Mee of John Mee Construction Limited, purchased their first Vacuum Excavator and carried out their first Vacuum Excavation Contract - Barkers Pool" in Sheffield. This contact was eventually short listed for two awards and is still used today as an example of how Vacuum Excavation can improve productivity, and more importantly, mitigate risk and save lives. (Vacuum Excavation, or Vac-Ex is generally used as a term to describe the safe exposure of live utilities beneath the ground that could be damaged by more traditional methods, such as mini diggers or shovels. The process has been carried out for decades all over the world but with limited use, due to the harshness of the process on machinery). This contract was to lay the foundations of how John Mee Construction Limited would evolve into the Company we are today. Our ethos is simple and straightforward; to provide a one stop shop for Vacuum Excavation. We're committed to continually developing to provide new solutions and products - for the continuous improvement of Heath & Safety in the workplace. Working all over the UK and Ireland, we also export all over the world too.
