Founder of JSAMEY Biotech ,Amey Marathe has been a acclaimed Chef for over 14years and also is the Vice President of Telangana Chefs Association. All through his career Chef Amey has seen tons of food getting wasted and his heart would ache everytime he saw food in the bin, and from bins to landfills increasing soil and air pollution . 11 out of 12 most polluted cities in the World are in India as per WHO report. He had the desire to do something with food waste . Hence the birth of JSAMEY BIOTECH where his wife Sujata Marathe joined him as co founder . At JSAMEY biotech Amey and his team are working on a revolutionary Microbial consortia which will help this Food Waste degrade faster and will convert the same into Organic Manure and Compressed Bio Gas which can be used to power vehicle reducing the stress on limited Fossil fuel . By Doing this they will harness Tons of green house gasses which gets released into atmosphere increasing Air Pollution. We are committed to Fight Air & Soil pollution for our nation, And we are aligned to the Vision of our Hon Prime Minister of India for Swachh Bharat . We are Aiming to process 1,80,000 tons of food waste / month by 2022. The Startup is Supported by BIRAC, AGRI BIONEST & ICAR and Incubated at a-IDEA NAARM and Agri Biotech Foundation Hyderabad.
