Just Social stands for Social Media Solutions for Just Causes. Just Social is a non-profit organisation which is aimed at assisting Irish Charities to engage effectively with Social Media using the most appropriate IT tools to achieve their online objectives.This program is delivered at no net cost to the charities using an innovative CSR mechanism called Social Follower Funding (SFF). Just Social coordinates experienced IT volunteers from around the world, through its online portal, to implement these IT systems while the charity focuses on maximising their impact on Social Media and safeguarding their reputation by implementing policies to inform their members and supporters on how to act and represent the charities' name online. Just Social engages directly with the IT Experts through the volunteer exchange portal so charities do not have to become experts themselves. We are developing an accreditation program for IT Professionals to inspire the IT professional to repeat volunteering and to provide tangible benefit from their involvement in the program. This entire program is provided at Zero Net Cost to the charity while simulating the CSR donations from SMEs using the SFF mechanism.
