Karinya House Home for Mothers & Babies Inc. is a community based, not-for-profit organisation. Our purpose is providing supported accommodation, transitional housing, outreach services and support groups to pregnant and parenting women and their families who are in crisis. Our service, which operates on a twenty-four hour, seven days a week basis, is located in the ACT and provides professional and specialised support to women throughout Canberra and the surrounding regional areas. Since the establishment of Karinya House in late 1997 through to 30 June 2016, we have provided residential and outreach support to over 5,000 pregnant and parenting women.
