Formally KEC, The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) is a body corporate which according to the revised statutes (ratified by the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples on 24th July, 2012) collegially exercises power in matters which are entrusted to it by universal law or by special mandate of the Holy See and acts in a common way in the fulfillment of their pastoral office. The Authority of KCCB is vested in the Ordinary and Extra-ordinary Plenary Assembly.
