Based in the UAE, the Khansaheb Sykes operations team has almost 40 years’ experience in groundwater control and general pumping applications. Today, this long-term specialist local dewatering knowledge distinguishes us from the competition. Set up in 1976 following our dewatering support to Costain International on the Shindegah Tunnel Crossing of the Dubai Creek, Khansaheb Sykes has grown to become the leading provider of professional dewatering and pumping services throughout the United Arab Emirates. Under a joint venture with Khansaheb Civil Engineering L.L.C., Khansaheb Sykes was created as a specialised dewatering contractor and pumping equipment supplier for a broad range of pumping applications including: building and construction ground water control, testing and cleaning pipework within petrochemical operations and supporting regional water companies and local municipalities in pumping sewage and waste water. We have also been involved with dewatering of major national port infrastructure projects including Jebel Ali Port and Dubai Dry Docks. Khansaheb Sykes is a subsidiary of Andrews Sykes Group, the UK’s largest specialist hire company. Our business is founded on the unrivalled expertise and know-how of building and operating Sykes Pumps, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2007.
