Kormilda College is an Anglican and Uniting Church day and residential secondary college located at Berrimah in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Kormilda College is an educational community like no other in Australia; where students from very different walks of life share and embrace the challenges of academic excellence, responsibility, leadership, and service. The true essence of a Kormilda College education is in the opportunity it gives to change ones life. Too frequently this is viewed solely as academic success, and although strong examination results are a tangible measure and prerequisite as students compete for university places and future careers, it is not the sole measure of a person. We believe that being educated is broader and deeper than results in exams can convey. At Kormilda we strive to instil a sense of value, character, resilience and optimism in our students. Our students are our greatest asset. The word Kormilda derives from the Aboriginal language of the Kakadu region of the Northern Territory and translates in English as tomorrow.
