Kystfisker Kompagniet is a small, fishermen-owned and operated fish-processing facility supplying high-quality, sustainable products from small-scale, low-impact fisheries in Denmark. Our mission is to ensure fair prices for our fishermen, while supplying top-quality products at competitive prices. We believe each fish deserves to be treated with a singular devotion to quality and the respect due to a wild creature, all the way to the consumer. In the same way that our fishermen consistently give individual attention to the fish they catch, our service is tailored to our customers needs. At Kystfisker Kompagniet, our people and our focus on quality and service are the difference. We work closely with the Danish small-scale fishermens association FSK (Foreningen for Skånsomt Kystfiskeri) and the European small-scale fishermens network LIFE (Low Impact Fishers of Europe). We believe in quality over quantity, full traceability, locally-sourced fish, a short value-chain and fair prices. Minimal by-catch, high quality fish, low fuel consumption, passive gears and supporting local fishing communities are central to the way we think and work at Kystfisker Kompagniet.
