Founded in 1996, the LA Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID) was established to provide cleaning, safety and marketing programs for the 100 block area of Downtown Los Angeles known as the Fashion District. The district is filled with flowers, fabrics, art, and fashion and continues to be the hub of the West Coast apparel industry and the creative core of Los Angeles.
