LA Sports Council

The Los Angeles Sports Council is a non-profit 501(c)(6) civic organization whose mission is to drive positive impact in greater Los Angeles through the transformational power of the sports industry. Founded in 1988, the Los Angeles Sports Council, is one of the nation's leading sports support organizations and is funded entirely from the private sector. The organization, is led by a Board of Directors that includes prominent sports industry leaders representing teams, annual sporting events, leagues, venues, and businesses that intersect the sports industry in greater Los Angeles. In the epicenter of the sports world, the LA Sports Council believes that uniting the industry on a year-round basis will lead to greater strength and a strong and healthy community for all residents in the region. The LASC Board of Directors also represent the Board of the Los Angeles Sports Council Foundation 501(c)(3) and the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games 501(c)(3). Although separate organizations, all entities work together for a common goal.
