Laajasalon opisto

Finnish Folk High School Founded in 1907, Laajasalon Opisto, is the oldest Folk High School with a Christian background in Finland. We offer liberal adult education and further vocational qualifications. Our 350 students and 30 employees base their activities on highly advanced national and international experience and expertise. At Laajasalon Opisto we help individuals fulfil their potential and help them become more aware, critical, responsible members of society. Our fields of education are: Media - radio journalism, sports journalism, print journalism and crossmedia production. Art - Fiction Film storytelling, Writing, Visual communication and graphic design, Vocalist for popular music, Drama 1 and Drama 2, Game Production Social Studies - Course of basic everyday routines to mentally disabled young adults, Finnish for immigrants, level 1, level 2 and level 3. University Studies - Political Sciences Further vocational qualification - Special needs assistant and Church warden (verger).
