Nutraceuticals (Food Supplements for Health) Company. LABOREST® was founded in 1991 as Restivas partner in the search for natural raw materials with benefits for human health. In its early years, Laborests scientific research focussed on the following therapeutic areas: Orthopaedics and Physiatry, Neurology, Angiology and Gynaecology. In 2015, Laborest was acquired by Uriach, one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Europe, becoming part of Uriachs international group while still operating under its own name. Laborest is now one of the top ten companies in the Italian nutraceutical market, thanks to its two medical marketing departments employing over 150 representatives who are able to cover the entire country every day and are in contact with almost all doctors in the target areas. In 2017 Laborest launched the new business line Consumer Health, alongside the historic division Medical Healthcare, further expanding the comprehensive range of Laborest products and helping it stand out even more in the nutraceutical market.
