The Simulation Laboratory of Naval Engineering Processes (LABSEN) was created in 2006 to meet the growing demand of simulation for naval engineering processes. Our aim is to work with high-end technologies and to create innovation in this domain. We are located at the Technology Center of UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Our Lab head is Professor Jean David Caprace and our team is composed by Professors, PhD students, Master students and Undergraduate students. Ours projects involve Discrete Events Simulation, Ship Emission Calculation, Maritime Collisions Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Tidal Window Estimation, Squat Effect Calculation, Welding Simulation, Offshore Upstream Logistic and Inland Transport Analysis, and others.
