LAMBAC (LaCloche Manitoulin Business Assistance Corporation) is a community-based non-profit corporation which works to help the LaCloche Manitoulin region prosper. We are a Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) sponsored by Industry Canada / FedNor to support small and medium-sized business and community economic development. LAMBAC administers funds to finance small business and social enterprises for start-up, expansion, or stabilization that will maintain or create jobs. Communities themselves are best equipped to make decisions affecting their futures. Therefore LAMBAC employs local staff and is governed by a volunteer board of directors made up of business and community leaders chosen to represent the community at large.
