Founded in 2001 and incorporated as a not-for-profit (501c3) in 2002, Landenberg Christian Academy (LCA) is an Independent Non-Denominational Parent Owned and Operated School offering Pre-K through 6th grade. Landenberg Christian Academy (LCA) exists to glorify God by providing excellence in Christ-centered education to our community. We encourage our students to develop a heart for Christ while pursuing excellence in academics, character and service to others. LCA promotes academic excellence with an education that addresses the whole child -- social, intellectual, emotional, physical AND spiritual. In recent years, the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) ranked LCA # 1 in the state in Math for 3rd-5th grades and # 2 in the state in Reading. (Note 1: The PSSA is the required achievement test for all public schools in PA.) In 2009, LCA students took the Stanford Achievement Test and scored in the top 7% nationwide -- that is, higher than 93% of all the other students who took this test across the country. (Note 2: The Stanford Achievement Test is the standard achievement test for most private schools across the country.)
