OUR VISION: A vital, positive Long Beach of engaged and dedicated community leaders. Our founders envisioned the formation of a civic improvement program that would serve the community by educating and motivating leaders on issues important to the future of our city. An additional purpose was to create a network of knowledgeable and informed community leaders who would be able to support and benefit from each other as they continued in their selected areas of endeavor. As a community awareness and improvement program, Leadership Long Beach enhances team building, builds interpersonal and decision-making skills, and motivates participants to work together for the betterment of the City of Long Beach.
