LED Community Leisure

Founded in 2005, LED Community Leisure Ltd (LED) is a co-operative community benefit society dedicated to enhancing community wellbeing through leisure, health, and entertainment services. We operate as a Leisure Trust, partnering with local councils, schools, and sports organisations to bring high-quality services to our communities. With 13 public sports and leisure facilities, a theatre and a family entertainment centre, LED proudly serves over one million visitors annually and supports a membership of approximately 10,000 people. As a non-profit, we reinvest all our surpluses into expanding and enhancing facilities to provide inclusive, accessible leisure, health, and hospitality options for everyone. Beyond our core services, LED runs Ocean, a vibrant family entertainment centre on Exmouth seafront, Exmouth Pavilion, and dining facilities at Exeter Airport. We also organise diverse community activities across East Devon’s natural landscapes, beaches, and schools, with over 50 volunteers supporting programmes like our Walking for Health initiative.
