Based on 30 years research at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden our two minute reading assessment uses eye tracking technology and artificial intelligence to determine the reading attainment of primary children in years 2 to 5. Our software looks at the connections between the cognitive processes in the brain and the childs eye movements, which enable them to read a text, to give schools and parents an in depth overview of their reading. Not only does our assessment allow you to determine and monitor reading attainment across five levels from high to low, but it can also help identify any children who are presenting with reading difficulties or dyslexic tendencies much earlier than many current methods. Our method removes all the subjectivity which surrounds current reading assessments and allows you to follow a childs progress in reading throughout their time at your school. After a child has completed the assessment you will have access to the results in our portal; these can not only be broken down and viewed per pupil or class, but also anonymised to show where your school or year group lies in comparison to the national average.
