LifePoint Church was founded in 1997 by Pastor John Jackson and a core of 4 families in Carson Valley (Minden) Nevada. LifePoint is a nondenominational church and our weekly attendance is about 1100 (3 services on Sunday). The church was established in a geographic region that is largely unchurched to reach more people for Jesus. We compete for peoples attention with the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas and Lake Tahoe. Outdoor hiking, biking, camping, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing and going to the Lake are common activities in our area. We have a team approach to doing ministry and this includes the highest levels of our leadership.
