Lift Brigade, a 501(c)(3) public charity, was founded by Lance White who was diagnosed with cancer at age 13. Impacted by his own experience, and with three (3) years of treatment still ahead of him, Lance used his Make-A-Wish® to help others. Lance started Lift Brigade because, "I wanted to help kids ‘get away,’ find a place to cope with their treatment experience, and to know they are not alone." Our program efforts focus on: - Technology for play and distraction - Awareness and advocacy - Patient and family support
