The business was established by Managing Director Richard Johnson in 1995, after spending his early career in the Australian Merchant Navy. Since this time Lifting Victoria has grown significantly, with more than 20 staff members now operating from branch offices in Geelong and Melbourne. Key facilities include extensive warehousing, a fabrication and boiler shop and equipment testing facilities. Lifting Victoria are founding members of the Global Lifting Group, an alliance of professional lifting and rigging companies located throughout Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia.
