Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI) is an independent, not-for-profit research organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We conduct basic and applied research, development, and testing in support of our mission to serve humanity through the prevention, treatment and cure of respiratory disease, the study of defense-related issues and the collaboration of respiratory and mind research. Our family of companies offers a host of research-related services and opportunities from unparalleled technical facilities and expert project management including professional staffing services and specialized research software solutions Over the years we have expanded our horizons and broadened the scope of our research to match the needs of our clients. Today LRRI is a family of companies that offers a host of unique scientific capabilities. We have approximately 540,000 square feet of specialized laboratories and research facilities, including the worlds largest, best-equipped facility for respiratory research. With the recent addition of several divisions and subsidiaries, we currently have 120 PhDs, MDs, DVMs and 811 employees in eight cities. LRRI, founded in 1947, has more than 200 clients, and projects revenue of $87 million for 2014, with an endowment of $45.5 million. We are the largest private biomedical company in New Mexico by more than $50 million in revenue, and are one of New Mexicos largest employers.
