The Mission of the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is to improve life so that individuals with developmental disabilities reach their full potential. The Lucas County Board of DD embraces the philosophy of self-determination, an approach for planning individualized services and supports. We will support eligible individuals and their families in developing a vision for the future based on individuals strengths, interests, and choices. We will assist with identifying, creating, and funding the supports needed to pursue that vision.
