LUMIN is a global leader in socially responsible and environmentally sustainable wood products based in Uruguay. Our business is inspired by the desire to guarantee a trustworthy supply of wood-products from responsible and sustainable sources delivered to our clients at national, regional, and global level. Our business includes 120,000 hectares of timberland in north eastern and north central Uruguay, as well as a seedling nursery, a cogeneration facility, and a state-of-the-art plywood and veneer manufacturing facility. Our timberlands constitute a mix of pine and eucalyptus trees, with a core focus on sustainability both in environmental management systems and in harvesting practices. Our operations produce high quality, long lasting, beautiful and sustainable wood products that are externally certified to international standards (including FSC). Today, LUMIN has over 750 personnel across timberlands, manufacturing and commercial teams. LUMIN plywood panels are globally recognized as a leading brand and are structurally certified, solid, lightweight, resistant, and with a beautiful appearance suitable for many end-uses. LUMIN plywood has PS1 and CE2 + certification for use in construction in the United States and Europe respectively and is sold through a network of regional offices and reliable and trusted distributors.
