Manitoba Aerospace is an industry-led sector council that works to connect the local aerospace and defence industries to national and international markets. Manitoba Aerospace also aims to develop a world-class industry and workforce through partnerships with Manitoba educational institutions and other key stakeholders. We represent a “network of excellence” for the delivery of manufactured aerospace and defence products, as well as value-added services provided by world-class companies. AEROSPACE and DEFENCE IN MANITOBA A supportive business environment, award-winning educational and applied research collaborations, and a cluster of research and technology organizations support a culture of innovation and the development of a world-class workforce in Manitoba`s aerospace and defence industries. Manitoba industry provides a diverse range of aerospace and defence manufactured products and components as well as in-service-supports; maintenance-repair-overall (MRO); innovation; research and development; and educational services. With the internationally recognized Composites Innovation Centre, the cluster has a unique and growing capability in the research and development, manufacturing, repair, and commercialization of composites.
