The Mission of Mawarra is providing programs which encourages the development of persons affected by disabilities so they may maintain their maximum potential within their community and home.Mawarra delivers day programs for adults and provides supported employment opportunities through its three Australian Disability Enterprises.Mawarra Day Programs provides extensive programs including individualised services, personal development, ongoing education, vocational training, leisure and recreation, music and drama, art and craft, sensory therapy and pre-retirement. Wherever possible programs are self directed and Mawarra is committed to community inclusion.Mawarra has three Australian Disability Enterprises. Country Kitchen Catering provides supported employment opportunities for people with a disability who want to work in a hospitality and catering business. Jigsaw Industries provides supported employment opportunities for people with a disability who want to work in timber product manufacturing or packaging and assembly business. Waratah provides supported employment opportunities for people with a disability who want to work in a lawn mowing, gardening and grounds maintenance business.
