MaxPraga s.r.o. was established in 1997 in Prague as an exclusive partner of the Max Mara Fashion Group. The Company owns three shops as franchisee of the Group and has an exclusive agency mandate over the territories of Czech Republic and Slovakia for the brands Max Mara, Marella, Marina Rinaldi and Weekend Max Mara, all part of the Max Mara Fashion Group. Additionally, the company offers management services for third parties' stores. First Max Mara boutique opened in Prague in 1997 in Havířská 1, in Old Town, making it one of the first international fashion brands to start their activity in the city, in the heart of what would soon become the main fashion district of Prague. In 1999, MaxPraga opened a second store in Železná 22 (now in Široká 10) for the brand Marina Rinaldi and in 2004 they launched a Marella store in the shopping mall Nový Smíchov. In spring 2008, a Weekend Max Mara store was opened in the Atrium Flora shopping gallery characterized by a pioneering and unique concept that made of it the first Weekend Max Mara mono-brand store of its kind in the world. Since 2013, the shop was moved to Slovanský dům, a prestigious shopping gallery in Na Příkopě 22. Since 2008, MaxPraga provides management services for third parties. Today, the company also promotes the distribution of brands Twin-Set and Woolrich over Czech Republic and Slovakia and manages the franchised shops in Prague. MaxPraga is an ambassador of Italian fashion in Czech Republic and Slovakia characterized by an overwhelming passion for fashion and a terrific expertise in retail fashion industry achieved through 20 years of successful activity.
