MBS Direct partners with K-12 schools and higher education institutions to deliver the best educational services to students and faculty. We provide new, used, digital and rental textbooks, supplemental materials and a variety of free resources. Our schools, students and parents benefit from a customized and user-friendly online bookstore, proprietary software and dedicated customer service. With decades of textbook management, delivery and distribution experience, we understand the diverse needs of our partners. MBS Direct is headquartered in Columbia, Missouri. We were founded in 1994 to manage the textbook distribution for Park University’s extended learning program. After discovering the difficulties Park University faced with distribution, MBS created an all-encompassing, customized and streamlined textbook fulfillment program. The program was a success, and lead to the formation of MBS Direct. MBS Direct is a division of MBS Textbook Exchange, LLC. MBS was founded in 1909 as the Missouri Store Company.
