Medical Associates Plus, which some may know as the Neighborhood Improvement Project and Belle Terrace began as a result of the dire need of medical care in Richmond County. There was a partnership formed with University Hospital and the Neighborhood Improvement Project. This partnership is what has laid the foundation for what the organization has become today. The facility opened its doors in 1999 and saw its first patient in May of that year. The facility at the time was located in a mobile unit on the grounds of Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church. The original location has grown tremendously into where we are today at 2467 Golden Camp Road. Not only has our location changed m, but we were renamed as Medical Associates Plus at Belle Terrace in 2013. Which we are now known as Medical Associates Plus. We have also since acquired several other locations which are listed below: Wrens Medical Center in December of 2013 Keysville in December 2015 Epic Health in April 2016 Dental and Medical mobile unit July 2016 Pulmonary health center May 2017 Family Medicine & Pediatric Health Center July 2018 We anticipate continuing to spread our roots into the community all while providing affordable and quality care!
