It all started in the back room of the Stifts-Apotheke in Ludwigshafen: Since its founding in 2005, we have grown rapidly and are now among the largest online shops for pharmacy products in Germany. Almost 400 employees handle around 400,000 orders per month, manage more than 100,000 items in more than 10,000 square meters of storage space and serve 5 million satisfied customers. Located in Ludwigshafen, in the middle of the dynamic Rhein-Neckar region in direct proximity to Mannheim, Heidelberg and the Palatinate, medpex is an ambitious and dynamic player in two of the most exciting growth markets: e-commerce and healthcare. Despite the success, we are one big family with flat hierarchies; we are enthusiastic about new technologies and creative ideas and have kept a good dose of start-up flair. Our milestones include the development of the world's first pharmacy app, numerous awards from "Stiftung Warentest," winning the online trading award, gaining the title "Best Online Store in the category of medication" in the FOCUS Deutschlandtest, as well as the construction of a huge warehouse with one of the world's largest pharmacy sorting machines.
