Mieles Campos Azules

Mieles Campos Azules (MCA), is the newest division of the Oleomex Group. We specialize in international bulk and private label sales of products derived from agave, such as organic agave syrup and organic agave inulin. We already have established sales in North America (Canada and USA), as well as a consolidated presence in Europe (Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, among other countries) as well as Australia and Israel. In 2009, the Oleomex Group acquired the MCA plant in the municipality of Amatitán, Jalisco with the intention of producing tequila; however, before the project took off, the investors realized that there was a rapidly growing market for organic health products made from agave. Mieles Campos Azules is one of the only producers vertically-integrated from the field. We own more than 7,400 acres of agave plants (just behind the large tequila manufacturers Jose Cuervo and Patron). Because of our vertical integration and strong backing of the Oleomex Group, within just a few years Mieles Campos Azules has already come to be recognized as one of the leading producers of agave syrup and agave fructans derivatives. Each year the company produces about 1,000 tons of agave fructans, 70% of which are exported. Our annual agave syrup production is approximately 8,000 tons, about 95% of which are sold abroad. Our bottling line (of 80 bottles per minute) enables us to meet the bottling needs of multi-national companies. Our products are certified Organic, Kosher, Halal, Fair-Trade, and non-GMO, and our facility is ISO22000 certified. Mieles Campos Azules invests heavily in research and development and has cooperative agreements with several research laboratories, as well as important institutions focused on new product development.
