Migrant x Me is a Social Enterprise based in Singapore that provides public education of the migrant worker community. What is our vision? To provide public education and collaborate with like-minded organisations until the migrant worker community in Singapore is treated with dignity. What is our mission? Our focus is reaching out to Singaporean youths as we believe they are the next generation of world-changers and can be catalysts to positive change in our society. This is done through curating programmes that are experiential and interactive, and partnering schools and like-minded organisations. What does it look like if the migrant worker community is treated with dignity? Some examples of what dignity looks like for the migrant worker community are access to proper healthcare, safe workplace conditions, and proper living conditions that adhere to safety guidelines. These are the 3 areas that we focus on educating the public of through our programmes: - Issues and challenges that migrant workers go through in Singapore - Cultural contexts of the migrant workers - Volunteer opportunities with our partner NGOs and ways to give back to the community
