mod.el

MOD.els mission is to merge the design and building process to best deliver exemplary environments. The convergence of technologies, the demand for environmental quality, social equity, economic opportunity, and new spatial constructs is defining professionals who support the whole of architectural production. To this end, MOD.els purpose is to advance quality of life within the built environment. Ninety-five percent of houses in the United States are planned, built, and developed without the contribution of architects. This and other sobering statistics have circulated in both academia and professional practice for the better part of 50 years. As it stands, for the discipline of architecture and architects to establish effectiveness the practice of architecture must broaden its base to connect with the greater portion of society. Architecture is only as good as a societys ability to access it. This mission defines MOD.el. Contributing to quality of life through the build environment and continuous learning is, simply stated, exciting! The way forward is never more of the same. We look forward to meeting you!
