NAHT

Established in 1897, NAHT is the largest independent trade union and professional association representing senior leaders across all phases in education. We currently represent more than 34,000 members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and exist to help our members achieve their leadership potential by providing practical help and assistance to run their schools, whilst protecting their interests. Members hold leadership positions in early years, primary, special and secondary schools, independent schools, sixth form and FE colleges, outdoor education centres, pupil referral units, social services establishments and other educational settings. Our services to members include: protection on pay, conditions and pensions, legal support and professional advice, guidance documents and publications, training to advance your career and networking with peers. NAHT also actively represents members’ interests at a government and parliamentary level and ensures that our members’ views are heard and actioned. We are a powerful voice for all school leaders.
