Naturix is a Spanish based business-group that is active in the realisation of the paradigm-shift towards sustainable methods of production, initially focused on aquaculture. Naturix is leading this change in aquaculture in both freshwater and marine ecosystems. Naturix is the only company in Spain that produces, elaborates and commercialises organic fish certified by ENAC (Spains National Body for Accreditation) in accordance with EC organic standards. While focusing its commercial activity on ecological aquaculture, the company is dedicated to recovery and protection of river basins and littoral zones, achieved through the promotion of leisure & tourism associated with its aquaculture centres therefore building on a healthy rural environment and natural ecosystem; environmental services that generate wealth. ( in 2006, transforming itself by 2010 in a pioneering company in the production of organic Trout based in Spain. These facilities are located in the province of Guadalajara, 1 hour drive from Madrid capital city. Naturix is primarily a family business, but has expanded its shareholdings by attracting other strategic investors who act as consultants, as employees, or those who only want to participate in the programme.
