Neem Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental, community-focused, advocacy, peace-building and conflict prevention organisation in Nigeria, founded as a direct response to the problem of insecurity in Nigeria. We are committed to improving the lives of those affected by the insurgency through building inclusive communities, providing and raising the standards of psychosocial care and countering extremist narratives. The Foundation is made up of the team that established Nigerias pioneer Counter Violent Extremism (CVE) Programme, which gives us unique knowledge and insight on the situation in the North East of Nigeria. We believe in a broad-based, multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary approach and will work to raise awareness on preventing violent extremism (PVE) and psychosocial support, build the capacity of the stakeholders and encourage a collaborative approach that involves youth, women, traditional and religious leaders, civil society, academia, security agencies and government institutions at State and Federal level.
