Nelephant Montessori School is a not-for-profit parent co-operative school that is committed to providing a true Montessori experience for young children. Nelephant Montessori School was founded in 1971 when a group of parents decided they wanted a program that provided children with the opportunity to develop into self-reliant, confident, independent learners. What these parents started has helped to shape and form many capable, confident, problem-solving, happy children. Today we continue to provide an environment that is a very loving, family-oriented, nurturing place for both the child and his/her family. Some of the children who were past students of our school, have now enrolled their own children because they had such an amazing, life-changing experience!
