New Cassel is not about retirement...it's about people. It's about seniors who are enjoying life and about a dedicated staff committed to providing the best for them. New Cassel is a unique community, integrating Christian values, health-care socialization, nutrition, and security. A dementia-friendly retirement home, New Cassel includes everything necessary for a dignified, independent, fun and safe lifestyle. It was founded in 1973 by the School Sisters of Saint Francis, which still provides sponsorship support. New Cassel offers an array of amenities, one that stands apart from most other retirement homes is the spiritual enrichment residents find at the facility. Catholic Mass is offered daily in our Chapel. An All-Faith service is offered twice a week by area ministers. Since 1985 the Franciscan Adult Day Center offers daytime support services for adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other special needs. Each day is filled with meaningful, large and small group activities and many opportunities for social interactions. The staff specializes in caring for older adults who benefit from mental stimulation and structured activities in a safe, secure, newly remodeled environment.
