Newham Sixth Form College (NewVIc)

Newham Sixth Form College is a sixth form college for students aged 16-19 years old based in East London. Founded in 1992, we are proud to have launched over 50,000 young people into university, training and employment. In 2019, the college is rated 'good' by Ofsted and 'outstanding' for its provision of personal development, behaviour, and welfare. At NewVIc, we are all-inclusive and welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities by offering the widest ranges of courses. From advanced A Level and professional technical programmes, to intermediate and foundation level courses, we are proud to celebrate a diverse range of talents and ambitions. Alongside the wide range of courses on offer, we are committed to delivering the best college experience possible and work closely with leading university, employers and our thriving Student Union. We have excellent work experience and industry placement schemes, tailored honours lectures, an extensive student development programme and an elite sports academy. The most important asset we have at NewVIc are people. From acclaimed poets, PhD graduates, artists, climate change warriors, equality champions and part-time astrophysicists, our staff are inspirational to each other as well as our students.
