Nidd Realty was originally launched in 1997. The goal was to build a business that set new standards in terms of ethics and values, and was totally committed to providing the best service to buyers and sellers. Having entered the industry in 2005, Joe Nidd is extremely proud of his team and their huge wealth of experience, with several agents who each have more than a decade of experience in the industry. Working alongside him as company directors are Liz Nidd whose more than three decades of industry experience is invaluable to the business along with Michael Nidd, the companys legal advisor. This strong management focus means that the team is supported by the company and given continuing education in all facets of their work with professionalism, ethics and integrity held as top priorities in every aspect of the job. Nidd Realty has a strong sense of corporate responsibility and is involved in sponsorship of the arts, local sports and charity, alongside raising in excess of $100,000 over recent years for Cure Kids through their charity auctions and enough money to fund 7 guide dogs before that. In 2015 a new initiative was launched aimed at rewarding talented Dunedin youth. The Nidd Realty Youth Innovation Fund awards a grant to the successful applicant recognizing their entrepreneurial talents and helping them with much needed funding to achieve their goals. A partnership has also been formed with the Otago Community Hospice with the Nidd Realty Dinner Club now running twice a year to raise funds for Hospice in Otago.
