Nitrogénművek is the sole producer of nitrogen-based fertilisers in Hungary and one of the largest in Central Europe. The Company’s products are largely sold to agricultural producers, both in Hungary and in neighbouring countries. While Hungary has historically been the Company’s principal market, export sales represent a significant business opportunity that the Company aims to explore with an expanding presence and a growing sales team. To accompany and supplement its principal fertiliser business the Company launched in 2014 three new business lines to offer a full range of agricultural inputs to end-users.
