No More Taboo is a not-for-profit social enterprise which creates long-term, sustainable solutions to tackle period poverty, challenge taboos around menstruation and empower people to build a period-friendly society. We provide a range of services to achieve this aim. On our ONLINE SHOP, we sell a range of reusable menstrual products and accessories, as well as exclusive No More Taboo merch! 100% of all profits are used to support our Tackling Period Poverty programme. Through our TACKLING PERIOD POVERTY PROGRAMME we run workshops and one-to-one period consultations with some of the most vulnerable people in the South West, giving them the confidence to talk about their menstrual health and the support to switch to a reusable menstrual product. In addition, we run STAFF TRAINING EVENTS to empower those who work with vulnerable people to challenge menstrual taboos and tackle period poverty withing their organisations. The training takes the form of half-day external events, which include opportunities for networking, or in-house sessions to help you understand how period poverty relates to your organisation and to equip you with tangible tools to create change. Our PERIOD FRIENDLY SCALE and CONSULTANCY SERVICE are a fun and engaging way for private, public and third sector organisations to assess how period friendly they really are and possibly receive a period friendly certification! We also provide bespoke support through research, education and training to facilitate period positive behaviour change within your organisation.
