Our History: Nobbs Radford Architects are a multiple AIA award winning innovative practice. Alison Nobbs and Sean Radford established the studio in 2004 creating an ideas driven practice with a strong belief in the ability of architecture to enrich daily life. Our architecture draws on ideas of place, light and beauty. The context of the home, whether a single or multiple dwelling, remains at the core of our practice as we believe it offers a rich source of design possibilities centred around fundamental human needs. Our Philosophy: We put forward ideas that challenge preconceptions to allow a better way of bringing together the people who inhabit our designs into their place, site and neighbourhood. The practice has a commitment to take on projects of differing demographics . For us the pleasure of architecture is derived from providing a solution that is expressive of the context, the desires of the client and our skills. Our Intention: Nobbs Radford advocates the broadening of architecture into the wider community and practice enjoys the process of exploring possibilities for change within the built environment. Nobbs Radford Architects is currently undertaking projects ranging from individual houses to more diverse medium density housing and apartment developments with the view to.
