Northern Support Services (NSS) is a non-profit community organisation created by people with a disability for people with disabilities and their families in the 1940s. From the very beginning we have been empowering people in their life choices and deliver a broad range of services to people with disabilities and their families in the northern region of Melbourne. Services include day programs and accredited courses, accommodation, respite, outreach, Work Education programs and projects around providing employment opportunities and alternative housing solutions. Service delivery is in a range of community settings including, recreation and fitness centres, neighbourhood houses, TAFE, colleges, commercial business settings and specialist service providers thereby maximising flexibility and choice, community connectedness and inclusive lifestyles. NSS believes in an inclusive and connected community for all.
