Recent evidence has shown that young adults entering the workforce are ill equipped to handle the challenges needed to complete tasks that require problem solving and teamwork. Regardless of grade point averages, following directions, and test taking skills, they fall flat in independent thinking, managing a project, and self directed initiative. The skills necessary to be successful in todays world require critical thinking and collaboration. Schools and even States saw this as a jumping off point to rethink how to assess students holistically, with a focus on process of thinking. Novare saw this shift in education and understood that teachers, administrators, students, and even parents were going to need support in understanding, organizing, assessing, and tracking, thus Novares platform was created. Many schools are adopting new standards necessary for 21st century skills and Novares platform empowers teachers to build, organize, and manage differentiated learning. This allows a better understanding of where a student performs and how to individually challenge them. Novare began in 2012 and has currently been deployed in schools in California and Iowa. Our tool enables collaboration and communication across classrooms, between teachers, administrators, and of course, parents, seamlessly and with ease.
